Dr. Ranju Bhasin was born and raised right here in Maryland. She sees her love for the field of dentistry as natural and organic — she always knew she wanted a career in healthcare, and she loves helping people feel more confident about themselves.
After graduating from dental school at the University of Maryland, she completed her general practice residency in Boston at the Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. Now that she's back in Maryland with her own practice, Dr. Bhasin feels honored to bring compassionate, warm dental care to Gaithersburg.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Bhasin loves spending time with her husband and two daughters, Millie and Gia. She is also a self-proclaimed foodie and loves finding exciting places to eat in the area!

Financial Coordinator
Jenny is our financial coordinator and has been in the dental field for over 11 years. She is an integral part of our team and has been with Dr. Bhasin since the day she opened the office. When visiting our office, you can rest assured that Jenny will be ensuring that your benefits are utilized efficiently and properly! Her favorite part of dentistry is creating relationships with the people she helps every day. In her free time, Jenny enjoys cooking, exploring her Colombian culture, dancing, and spending time with her family.
Jessica
Hygienist
Jess is a registered dental hygienist and received her Associate of Applied Science in Dental Hygiene degree from the Allegany College of Maryland in 2009. Taking pride in her job, Jess provides high-quality care to her patients. Jess’s caring and friendly personality helps put patients at ease while they are in the dental chair. Her goal is to help all patients achieve the lifelong benefits of optimum oral health. In her free time, Jess enjoys spending time camping, riding motorcycles, and traveling with her family.
Lori
Hygienist
Lori is a registered dental hygienist and has been providing patients with dental care since 1985. A Maryland native, Lori has been around dentistry for as long as she can remember, as her father is a retired dentist. She has been an integral part of our Lifetime Smile family since 2006 and has created so many lasting relationships with her patients over the years! Whenever she is in the office, you can’t miss her contagious laugh and positivity. Patients are immediately put at ease with her bubbly energy and gentle touch. Outside of the office, Lori enjoys spending time with her two daughters, Danielle and Samantha, and is an avid sports fan.
Melissa
Lead Clinical Assistant
Melissa has been our lead registered dental assistant for years and has over five years of dental experience! Her favorite part of dentistry is ensuring that her parents are comfortable throughout their entire visit. She also has a passion for helping patients through their Invisalign treatment as she loves seeing their final results! In her free time, Melissa enjoys exploring overall health and wellness. She also is an avid reader and enjoys cooking.
Meghan
Patient coordinator
Meghan is our patient care coordinator and has been in the dental field for over five years. She is such an asset to our team - she greets every one of our patients with a smile, helps create treatment plans that best serve our patients, and helps schedule effectively to accommodate busy patient schedules. Meghan loves getting to know our patients and has a wonderful way of connecting and making everyone feel comfortable. Her favorite part of dentistry is helping people achieve their goals and seeing them walk out of our office confident and happy! In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her friends/family, and dog, Benelli. She also stays very busy on her family farm.
Quede
Clinical Assistant
Quede is our registered dental assistant who has years of experience working in the dental profession. Her favorite part of dentistry is working as a team to ease patients when they visit our office and working towards making people feel more confident. In her free time, Quede enjoys spending time with her 2 cats, Michi and Smokey, hiking, and long drives (she’s a car enthusiast, too).
